I’m Pasteen Levens (Gray),
My hometown Brantley, Alabama, I attended Brantley Jr. High, Woodford Avenue Elementary School Luverne, Alabama and graduated from Brantley High School. After attending college, I started my journey here at Elba City Schools after the flood of 1990 (27 years ago). I worked in the trailers a few years before we moved into this beautiful facility. I worked 24 years at Elba High School as the In-School Suspension Coordinator, and was moved to Elba Elementary my 25th year. My job here consists of several tasks.
My husband Winzell Gray is deceased; we have five children, four daughters and one son. I am and have been the Minister of Music at Greater New Zion Baptist Church here in Elba, Alabama for about 29 years.
